A summer of transfer activity and a new season approaches.
Yeah God's Matty.............the old season has only been over for 21 days!
Yep, having a World Cup gives us no break
So how much will Cesc go for 40 , 50 or 60 million? Whatever happens Wenger wont have enough time to get a replacement, there is real concern amongst Arsenal fans that if CF goes and we dont buy anymore players 6th or 7th place is a possibility
Latest transfer talk
Gourcuff ( Bordeaux ) to replace Cesc Fabregas at ]21.8 million
Srna ( Croatian ) off to Chelsea
Benayoun to replace Joe Cole , if Cole leaves Stamford Bridge
Barca interested in signing Mascherano

Would be typical of the fat Spanish waiter to let one of his better players leave.. i dont know why the Israeli spends so much time on the bench hes a cracking footballer, then again god knows what goes on between the fat Spaniards ears.

Yes be strange if he lets them go, especially if Torres if off, if this is the case surely Gerrard's time is limited there
The writing would appear to be on the wall. Broughton is a Chelsea fan - not that I'm implying anything

Man U in pole position to get Joe Cole... be a good addition to the team and could take over in the P Scholes role. he certainly would offer more imagination to the Man U midfield.
I think you'll find Cole will probably go to Tottenham.
P.S. I think you'll find Modric won't be going to United either
Everton sign Beckford.
Intriguing. Will his lack of touch and control get found out or will his eye for goal overcome these deficiencies?
Wages apart a shot to nothing for Everton.
Good luck JB. You deserve your shot at the big time

Thats a BIG step for him, be interesting to see how he gets on
Why do you say they are in pole position, I would have thought he would be happier in London

Then again he may want to stay in London.....
Thanks for that, be interesting to see where he does go, he will have to move for sure.
Aside from Cole's relationship with 'Arry; financing any deal shouldn't be too much of a problem. Where to put Cole would prove interesting, although I suppose Bale could be slotted in as a marauding left back.
Should be a bit of clearout this summer - Keane to Villa? Pav to any of the Moscow clubs? Jenas to anywhere?
Interesting times ahead with expectations likely to be put on Sandro's shoulders. Could be a very inspired signing. We shall see.
Yes I should imagine Spurs will have 3 or 4 to get rid of, Keane could well stay in Scotland with N Lennon
Celtic could not afford the transfer fee or Keane's wages
************BREAKING NEWS*****************************
REAL MADRID are ready with a 95M offer for Rooney.. (cant post links from work but the rumour is on caughtoffside and noted on the bbc gossip update) another years worth of debt interest paid then.
Keane off to Villa?
Would Man U sell Rooney? If the story was true?
Liverpool have recieved a bid of £28million from Barcelona for Javier Mascherano which indicates that Cesc Fabregas will be staying at Arsenal for at least one more season. Liverpool have neither accepted nor rejected the bid but have made a bid of £8.5million for Valencia midfielder Ever Banega which would indicate that they are going to accept the bid so expect Javier Mascherano to be lining up alongside Lionel Messi next year.........................watch this space
Bollock chops reckons Joe Cole has already signed a deal to leave Chelsea. Clearly it isn't Spurs, so maybe United are indeed in the frame.

Just going to post a similar story....where is off to then?
I'm not so sure about this. Spurs rushed to do a contract extension for Modric because Arsenal reportedly tabled a bid for him. Wenger has history here (despite claiming Modric was too lightweight for the Premier League) having been outbid by Spurs originally.
Anyway, the question is, why launch a bid for Modric is Fabregas is staying. It doesn't compute.
Who has launched a bid for Modric?? I am lost now
I should have been clearer. Spurs got wind (reportedly) of a bid from Arsenal for Modric. You will remember that they were outbid by Spurs for Modric's services last time.
I'm assuming it's United.
