Here is a picture taken from one of the guys on the West Australian weather forum. I love the undulating clouds, not sure which beach this was taken from. Saw hundreds of these strikes out over the ocean last night like this and another day of storms today, very threatening skies at the moment with big spots of rain.

Hi Gav, the ocean was completely flat, absolute silence and i think that made the whole night even more memorable. I am looking at this mornings latest charts and there looks huge potential for a very thundery week next week. Quite remarkable i don't think i have had this many thundery outbreaks in the last 6 years as we have had in the past 2 months.
I actually live further North and was at the beach at Mindarie, around 40km North of the CBD. We pretty much have suburbs stretching right upto Yanchep now.
