06C going for 31C this weekend so that probably Sat or Sun will be the hottest day of the year.  Also nice to see 30C in NE UK for a change this Friday and seem hotter than European countries nearest to UK.   One thing I notice that GFS night time temps had been rather low as it used to reach 17-20C overnights low before during past hot spells.

It looks like after tomorrow there'll be a couple more very warm days on the north before cooler and cloudier conditions move in. Further south it looks like the heat will continue (which suits me fine as I will be heading that way [sn_bsmil] )

It's days like this when I wish Leeds Weather Ctr was still open.. 28.0C atm and certainly feels hot.If th cloud doesn't bubble up too much, a 30C is very likely.

Reached 28.4C but has cooled off a bit to 27.9C, a bit more cloud about, but nothing significant as of yet. Seems like a slight increase in wind speed too.

As of 2pm it looks like officially Costa-del-Solent is once again the UK hotspot.

27.1C is my max today at 3.15pm πŸ™‚

Not as warm as yesterday at this point however unlike yesterday today the winds have died down more during the afternoon so I'm still optimistic we will hit at least 28C maybe even 29C.
