Much more cloud around today

Cloudy, warm though cooler than yesterday with a NE breeze, 19c.

22.9C and gloriously sunny!

A disgusting cold overcast and miserable July day. Noon temp just 13C and even when the sun came out later it limped up to only 15.4C. Just 14.3C now.

March 2012 produced a more consistent warm spell that wasn't tarnished by days of tripe like this.

LAST NIGHT: Clear the whole time.
THIS MORNING: Quite sunny for most of the morning, then stratsocumulus cloud quickly rolled in from the north west at 11.30 am and made it quite overcast by mid-day.
THIS AFTERNOON: Overcast with even the lightest spits of drizzle at first, then it slowly brightened up during the course of the afternoon until leading to sunny spells and only variable cloud amounts for the rest of the afternoon and into the evening.
CURRENT: Mostly fine and clear. Well scattered cirrus.     14.9 C.       75% humidity.      Dewpoint: 10.5 C.      Fresh north east winds.         Steady at 1024.5 mb.

WINDS: Moderate to occasionally fresh north east the whole time.
AIR QUALITY: Excellent, very fresh and clean.
VISIBILITY: Excellent this morning, just a little less so in afternoon.
COMFORT FACTOR: Warm this morning, then it became cooler and fresher in the afternoon. It remained bone dry the whole time.
RAINFALL (in mm):   Nil.
TEMPERATURES (in C):         Max 21.0 at 12 pm.          Min: 14.1 at 4 am.
PRESSURE (in mb):              Max: 1025.1 at 12 pm.           Min: 1023.7 at 5.30 am.

15.4C here with a brisk NE wind, temp is dropping very quickly infact, cool air being dragged across the Pennines from the North Sea it would seem. Still sweltering over in Ireland, 28C @ Shannon airport at the moment.
