Again, we've done rather better here today, Jerry, with good sunny spells a fresh westerly breeze and a high of 25c (still the temperature currently). It's swings and roundabouts as Edinburgh had better weather than here last week.

A dry and bright day with very weak hazy sunshine. Very warm with a maximum temperature of 24.6c.

RH 45%, dewpoint 9.6c....my lowest ever Relative humidity of 32% was equalled with yesterdays figure.

The cumulus which moved east has decided to stop and build in situ for some bizarre and annoying reason. Pretty much sunny all day however, with the sun still shining now, max 28.6C.

Currently 23.8C and dropping a degree every half an hour - really odd that the temperature over the past few days has just been bombing at this time, while last week it remained high until this time.

Glad you are having some sun Graeme, I have been able to see your blue sky for the last two days on the NE horizon. Yes I'm also concerned that after Friday as the High moves north then the Haar will be ready to pounce! At least its well into the season and there is a chance that it will burn away here in Edinburgh but there is more chance of it sticking where you are. I would imagine Glasgow and the NW will be a hotspot by then!

Current temperature is 19.1C with mostly clear skies.  Maximum today was 25.3C and it felt humid.

Evening,

Another dull, damp and very overcast day. Breezy throughout, but quite warm at times with a top temp just shy of 20C despite not a glimpse of the sun. Low cloud base, around 100m this morning, just now about 300m. More of the same tomorrow.

I take it those faint echoes on raintoday are false readings??

I got a real wedge of hot air this afternoon between 2.30 and 4.30 pm.

30C to 31C and with an almost total absence of wind it felt even hotter. It was amazing.
