Observations between 7.15 pm last night and 8.45 pm currently.

LAST NIGHT: Clear spells and variable amounts of high cloud.
THIS MORNING: Hazy sunshine with variable amounts of cirrostratus.
THIS AFTERNOON: More in the way of clear skies thus the sun became more effective.
CURRENT: Fine and clear.     19.7 C.        70% humidity.        Dewpoint: 14.1 C.          Light north east winds.        Steady at 1018.3 mb.

WINDS: Calm last night, then light north or north east during the day.
AIR QUALITY: Fair this morning, then it actually became better in the afternoon and into the evening.
VISIBILITY: Good with a slight haze this morning, then excellent in afternoon.
COMFORT FACTOR: It felt very warm in the sunshine despite the sea breeze. Continuing bone dry where the lawn is now totally straw coloured, save for a stripe under the hedge where it is in the shade.
RAINFALL (in mm): Nil.
TEMPERATURES (in C):        Max: 25.1 at 2 pm.           Min: 17.0 at 5 am.

A beautiful sunny start but then increasing cloud.  It didn't stop the warmth though as we got a maximum temperature of 24.3C and now currently sitting at 21.3C.

Brr, 'only' 21.1C here now after a max of 27.5C. This time last week, it could have been 24C. Continuing the theme of bombing temperatures after a certain time regardless of cloud cover.
