30c in daughters room, even with fan on and windows wide open. Unfortunately it has the sun on it all day, so it just becomes hotter and hotter and we are mid terrace......

Overnight low of 26.5C indoors even with windows open. It was 28.2C at midnight.

Some high overnight temperatures being reported. Sleeping better though now that the duvet has been ditched!

Got up to 32.5c in the office yesterday. Finding it very difficult to work in that tin oven. For the first time in 3 years I've ditched the black trousers and gone with shorts. What's the point in being dressed smartly if you can't work?!

Thermostat 23c. Bedroom 23c. Hallway 23.5c. Lounge 24.4c. with sun through lounge window but back door is open ...So a little breeze flowing through... ...

24.8C at a fairly humid 61% - similar to conditions outside atm. Next week looks a challenge to keep cool as those humidity and temperature values look set to increase further! <Goes off to finally dig those fans out of the garage>

25.7C downstairs as the overnight low. The a/c really struggled last night, down to 23.8C when I went to bed. It then went up to 27.8C by midnight, falling to 26.2C by the time I got up.

It really is exhausting, I'm longing for a decent night's sleep...

Wasn't to bad last night with a light NE breeze blowing in and that does make a difference to the feel.


I have two windows in my bedroom, one facing SW and another facing NE.

24.1C here in the study, 24.7C in the bedroom, so very warm but not terrible, not sure of the humidity indoors as my sensors don't record it but it cannot be that high as I have not sweated at all in this room since this hot spell began.
