Annoying cloud for the 12th day in a row here. Just like yesterday it's gone almost completely overcast after a sunny start Dire cloud that just sits and stagnates, refusing to clear away. It even appears to be raining just to the south.
 
This just confirms what a forgettable spell of weather this has been with not one day of clear blue skies

Sunny spells and the second warmest day of the year, currently 27c. Been a great week here in NE Fife - unfortunately I suspect today might be the last of it.

Reached 27 now in Aberdeen St Andrews and Edinburgh. Clouds melted away but cumulus building now. Probably last day of this now as North Sea crap will invade!

COMFORT FACTOR: Despite the unbroken and strong sunshine, it felt quite fresh and airy all day anyway (my elderly mother is currently appreciating the coolness of her east-facing bedroom). However, the dryness continues unabated.
