Hi!,

I'm based in Dublin, Ireland and I was wondering how manys days it has been since it last rained here?

Where can I get this info?

How many days has it been since it has rained where you are?

Nice one!

Exactly 2 weeks since it last rained. Only 1.1mm this month.

BTW - according to this link, it last rained in Dublin 2 weeks ago: http://www.ogimet.com/cgi-bin/gsynres?lang=en&ord=REV&ndays=30&ano=2013&mes=07&day=17&hora=18&ind=03969

I imagine there are some places that have had no rain at all in July so far. We caught a shower at home from the thunderstorms today; before that the last rainfall was July 3, so a two-week drought.

We had a short, light thundery shower on Saturday evening. That's the lot for the last fortnight, though.

No rain here since July 3rd.
That's 15 days if I make the not too difficult prediction that it won't rain today.

And that's a long time for up here.

My weather station says:
Recently significant - All time days with no rain value 14

So that's the longest dry spell since 2009 at least.
Dry periods are most frequent in the spring here.

Now 16 consecutive days without rain here.  Only rain of the month so far was on July 2nd with 7mm.

Amazingly, this is now the longest spell without measurable rainfall I've ever recorded in July, in records going back 30 years.  In fact, we're not far off the longest dry spell in any Summer month here!  The record to beat is 20 days set by June 1992.

As a result, the river Trent here is the lowest I've seen it for many years.
