Take a look at their wrong forecast I am in Berkshire which is way far away from you and it quite cloudy here.  It was almost clear this morning as I assumed it burning away but no it was coming in very very very late.

My own take on it via my award-winning Cloud Master forecast was to suggest it being mostly cloudy all day today over most of the Eastern side of the country, including dear ol' Kent. so it doesn't come as too much of a surprise to me.
Then as the surface wind slowly veer to as a easterly and then in from the south-east over the next couple of days, it'll then have the effect of tapping into the hot and humid air over the near Continent and bring that our way - at least for a time before it all turns thundery in nature by late Tuesday/early Wednesday (that will need more fine tuning and mind changings as we get nearer to the time).

Anyway, back on topic, indeed it is overcast but it certainly does feel quite clammy and muggy even though it's "only" 19.7 C.

I think the the sun is going to burst forth any moment now as it looks like clear skies coming in from the Dutch coast is heading my way, this is probably because the wind is now taking on more of an easterly component rather than in from the north-east (the North Sea).
