Still on 8.9mm and 8 consecutive dry days so far. The water butts are taking a hammering as the garden develops a drinking habit! An outside chance next week of catching a shower at some point to spoil the dry run!

I've just had a count up and I've recorded 6.3 mm of rain so far this month (the last time it rained here was on the 3rd July).

Remaining on 8.9mm. Some slight rain here this morning and there was some around when I was in S. Leicester yesterday - got to smell the petrichor!


Nothing measurable. Looking like the 18 day drought may end here as soon as tomorrow morning!  I've stopped watering the garden, so I hope that hasn't put a spanner in the rainworks

Epsom weather station which i found out they opened it last year and recorded 0.9mm today making it 2.7mm so far this month.  That end the 19 dry days.
