Still on 8.9mm and 8 consecutive dry days so far. The water butts are taking a hammering as the garden develops a drinking habit! An outside chance next week of catching a shower at some point to spoil the dry run!

11 days dry... Total still 1.5mm.....

Still on 8.9mm, now on 14 consecutive dry days. An all or nothing scenario possible next week if we enter a thundery set up!!

I've just had a count up and I've recorded 6.3 mm of rain so far this month (the last time it rained here was on the 3rd July).

Still on months total of 1.5mm....

Well that ends our drought, 0.2mm overnight to 1.2mm.

Remaining on 8.9mm. Some slight rain here this morning and there was some around when I was in S. Leicester yesterday - got to smell the petrichor!

Nothing measurable. Looking like the 18 day drought may end here as soon as tomorrow morning!  I've stopped watering the garden, so I hope that hasn't put a spanner in the rainworks

Still on 8.9mm and into day 19 of the drought! No sign of any rain atm. The gun is loaded, however! It may go off tonight!

38.8mm so far today and 45.2mm for the month now. 

Just gone from 0.5mm for the month to 28.5mm - mind, that's still only just over half the average for July!

0.3mm This Morning....Total 1.8mm....

Epsom weather station which i found out they opened it last year and recorded 0.9mm today making it 2.7mm so far this month.  That end the 19 dry days.

From 3mm to 39.2mm within 24hrs

The thundery activity of the 23rd dropped 18mm, bringing my total up to 27.8mm

Overnight rain didn't amount to very much 2.6mm.
