Storm in progress, booming thunder, lots of lightning, moderate to heavy rain but nothing special at the moment.
Getting closer.
Lightning is still going off to my north west but can now see the crack of dawn (that sounded a bit wrong!).My rain gauge only measured 18.9 mm! I'm sure it's much more than that. Will check the inside of the rain gauge for cobweb, and the roof for loose tiles (that gustnado-type wind at the beginning was something else!).
This is a very violent storm :o

The storms know where they are so have decided to start to weaken and fizzle out in general as they get closer to here. Oh dear..
The western boundary just burst back into life over my house... woke me from a dissapointed sleep after the lack of activity here overnight.
