Another vile day. Clammy, humid, muggy, overcast muck for the 3rd day on the trot. Fog was absent though and it even tried to brighten up but failed. Min: 15.0C, Max: 19.5C.


Now seems to be getting murkier despite the North Sea having cleared up There just seems no way to get rid of this without a change in wind direction. 


This week is conclusive proof that SE'lys are the worst wind direction. Even a cloudy NE'ly with 15C maxes is better than this murky filth which is taking me back to the living hell that was July 2012

Observations between 8.30 pm last night and 7 pm currently.

LAST NIGHT: Partial cloud cover and clear breaks.
THIS MORNING: Variable cloud amounts and sunny spells.
THIS AFTERNOON: Partial cloud cover and sunny periods.
CURRENT: Quite sunny with only variable high cloud cover.         19.9 C.         85% humidity.        Dewpoint: 17.3 C.       Steady at 1007.8 mb.         Light south west winds.

WINDS: Light south west breeze, it became as moderate this morning.
AIR QUALITY: Superb, very fresh and clean. Lovely not to be putting up with that distinctive fatty smell of stale BBQs going off.
VISIBILITY: Superb, especially in the afternoon.
COMFORT FACTOR: Despite the plentiful sunshine and the more "summer"-like temperatures, it was quite fresh and airy.
RAINALL (in mm):   Nil.
TEMPERATURES (in C):         Max: 25.1 at 3 pm.          Min: 16.9 at 3.30 am.
PRESSURE (in mb):              Max: 1009.1 at 12 am last night.           Min: 1006.9 at 5 am.
