This evening's moderate type thunderstorm has given me a useful 9.9 mm of rain, that will go a long way to reviving the lawn.

Only 4.5mm tonight that give a total 9.3mm which likely to be set a figure for July as there no rain forecast tomorrow and next week until after the hot plume.

My rainfall total from yesterday's sytem was 65mm in the end!

40mm in an hour or so from thunderstorms and another 25mm from general peristent/torrential rain.

This brings me up to 72mm for July as a whole - Actually a wetter than average month now.
