My goodness - wasn't suprised though to see June end up with the CET -0.6C below though.

It was very cool in my part of the country - but at least it was dry.

Start of the month felt fantastic (we took a break in Devon), and mid-month we had the paddling pool set up in the garden.

My prediction was ultimately poor, but I feel cheated

Do we know if GW is OK?

I'm a bit concerned we've not had any updates for June or July? Hopefully he is just on holiday/enjoying the sun and all is well?

Here are the final charts for June. Another relatively chilly month. Sorry for the delay. Competition update to follow.

Sorry for the delay once again. Hopefully normal service will be resumed from the start of August.

Here is the June update for the annual competition. Not much change in the top 10 this month. But the gap between the top three is now very small indeed. Weathermac still leads the way but Taylor1740 and Nemi are very close behind.

Lower down in the top 10 there are some significant climbers. Roonie is up four places to seventh. Edicius81 climbs four to ninth and moves into the top 10 for the first time this year. The same in true for Gavin P who is up nine places to tenth.

Between 20th and 30th there are a number of people climbing to their highest position of the year. Snow Hoper up 12 to 28th is our highest climber this month.

John S2 is the biggest faller of the month down 21 places to 46th.

markwells moves off the bottom of the table. Although he is still way behind most others he has had three excellent months in a row. Noone else has had three consecutive predictions with an error of less than 0.5C.

Biggest climbers
28 Snow Hoper up 12
31 Tractor Boy up 11
42 roger63 up 11
52 lanky up 10

Biggest fallers
46 John S2 down 21
17 Surrey John down 10
35 Llamedos down 8
36 Twister down 8

As ever a star against a person's name means they have reached their highest position in the league table this year.

We have lost a number of people from the competition this month as they have now missed three months of predictions. These include ozone_aurora, itssnowjoke, Quozzle, scillydave, John NI, Maunder Minimum and DTHFCJ.

There are now only 7 people left in the competition who are benefiting from the rule change this year which permits up to two missed predictions during the year.

Many thanks as always GW

I'm sure we can all appreciate how busy and inconvenient life can be sometimes. I hope you're seeing signs of a more relaxed August

Thanks for all your hard work GW.

So I'm in the top ten for the first time since 2007!

Wonder how far I'll fall with July, tho.
