Turning out bright and dry with some sunshine as cumulus stay to the north of us (over the hills) but that SW wind is kicking up a fuss thus making the 20 C feel cool and fresh. Certainly doing a grand job in airing the house out, that's for sure.
I should imagine the local kite/wind surfers are lapping this one up.

Frequent heavy showers, and the almost constant rumbling of thunder. 19.7C

Here it comes again, torrential rain, so heavy it`s pouring straight off the roof missing the gutters completely. Road outside flooded.

Now we have large hail.

Yet another shocking forecast from Simon King on Five Live this morning.

Very few showers in Northern England. You know the rest. More downpours and thunder/lightning than we've had for what feels like years. Garden flooded, etc.

This is now a regular thing with King.

Fine and sunny here for the 3rd day out of 4. Max of 21.8C with no rain There were plenty of cumulonimbus clouds about and I heard reports of torrential rain at Westhill, a few miles inland, while it was gloriously sunny here.
