Overcast and cool at 17.4 C but it is staying dry at the moment. Seems that The Shield remains as effective as ever as this area of rain is splitting into two the moment it is touching Kent, one moving into Essex and the other one over the Channel - exactly as the NAE plotted.

EDIT: Just started spitting with rain but going by the radars it all seems to be moving along quicker than I thought.

Grey and damp with drizzle but what is really noticeable is how the 16.8 C is feeling cold in the strong SW wind.

An Autumnal flavour to it all where it look and feels much more like a typical November's day rather than a late July's. I truly cannot believe it'll be getting up to 30 C away from the coast in less than 48 hours time.
