Although it is rather cloudy as I type, it is trying ever so hard to brighten up and I did get to see some sunshine earlier on this morning.
  Still a bit on the cool side at 17 C at the moment, but it is only 8.30 am anyway.

Rather overcast but dry. 18.2 C with 96% humidity under a light SW wind. Looking and feeling more like a September's day rather than November's.

The models are still keen on the idea of temperatures reaching 30 C away from the coast here at the South East corner (I'd probably see 24 C to 26C over here) this time tomorrow. Finding it difficult to believe that but the proof will be in the pudding.
  Mind you, the latter half of the summer (which includes August) is more known for sudden last minute heat to spring up - and go away just as quick rather than sustained warm spells (the latter which tend to occur in the first half of the summer, as in June and July).

Slowly trying to brighten up after having been rather overcast all morning. Temperatures are also trying to respond in kind as it's currently 20.3 C and is rising.

However, I think it's going to be a while before I do actually get to see full sunshine under clear skies as, going by the satelitte images, it seems that any clear slots that does occur over the Channel are being filled in by low cloud anyway (and wouldn't be surprised if there are sea fog in the mix as winds become a light south and humidity levels start to rise over what is still a fairly cool Channel).

It's cheered up a lot now that it's only just become quite sunny (only variable high cloud) after having been rather overcast for most of the day.
   However, it is a bit too late in the day in terms of it having an influence on the temperature as I'm recording 19.3 C. It may be down to the humidity levels to keep it feeling muggy tonight anyway.

According to my weather station, the temperature for around here peaked at 24.3 C at 4.45 pm. Certanly hadn't felt like that!
