Hello folks,

Today's video is a Solar Sunday Update;

http://www.gavsweathervids.com/

We've got big news about SC24 reaching it's maximum and there's also some very interesting temperature which may have ramifications for us.

You'll notice I'm also running a little video from NASA which helps to explain whats going on.

Enjoy.

Good stuff Gav, I remember NASA'S prediction for this cycle quite vividly, Hathaway over at NASA was pretty sure of this cycle being bigger than cycle 23. I guess it's a learning curve for the boys over at NASA. 🙂

Thanks guys.

SC, when I saw that prediction from Hathaway for SC24 from 2008 I did remember that it was at one time forecast to be a big cycle, but it was still a shock to see how big SC24 was forecast to be.

I seldom watch your videos (normally just read the written forecast).  Watched this one and enjoyed it.

That nasa guy has got some scary eyebrows though!

Thanks for giving it a try Glengle. Pleased you enjoyed.

I was in two minds whether to post the NASA video, but I thought it would help explain whats going on with the magnetic field reversal better than I could.

People seem to be enjoying both vids anyway.

It took a bit of finding but I knew I'd seen your graph somewhere.

I'm with Dr Svalgaard. Fwiw, going by his corrected data, the current cycles lines up better, or at least as well, with cycle 6. Cycles 6 was the beginning of a rise in solar activity. So you picks your comparision and you takes your chance.
