Can't find much to disagree with there, with the only real opposition coming from the CFS model as far as September is concerned - but it's easy enough to see how relatively small variations on the theme could bring about a good deal of fine weather for the first half of September, as Terry predicts.

Looking forward to plenty more useable weather during the next 30 days or so

There's nothing more boring than a prolonged spell of quiet September weather, IMO.

I may have to shut GavsWeatherVids down and go fishing for 2-3 weeks, LOL.

Another September like 2009 would be a nightmare for me - What on earth would I find to talk about every day if we spent the whole month under high pressure like September 2009?

Although I normally like dry, sunny weather, I too find quiet, settled Septembers rather boring.

Unsettled Septembers can be quite thundery in S England due to strong convection over warm English Channel in Rpm and Pm airmass, and the storms often move into southern North Sea (which is also warm), bringing vivid lightning display out over the sea here in Lowestoft at night, plus dramatic looking Cb and Cu con clouds in early morning, which I used to enjoy watching in the 1990s, 2001 and in 2006. Occasionally, we had quite vicious storms invading inland if the wind backs S or SE.

Looks like non of this type of weather this year.
