Observations between 7 pm last night and 8.30 pm currently.

LAST NIGHT: Mainly cloudy, there was some rain in the small hours.
THIS MORNING: Dull and overcast with outbreaks of rain, quite heavy for a time. The cloud base was often low enough to shroud the hilltops to the north of the town.
THIS AFTERNOON: Mainly cloudy with occasional rain. Misty over the hills.
CURRENT: Cloudy, and it's just started to rain again.       17.4 C.     97% humidity.       Dewpoint: 16.9 C.       Calm winds.        Rising slowly to 1008.6 mb.

WINDS: Light and variable in direction for most of the time.
AIR QUALITY: Very good.
VISIBILITY: Fair, mist and hazy at times. Poor over the hills.

Cloud's broken as the day's gone on, and from mid-afternoon, it's been sunny. Didn't expect this at all. In fact, apart from a very brief attempt at a shower yesterday whilst on Windermere, it'd been dry in the daytime Fri & Sat
