Mainly dry, fine and warm once todays rain and storms are out of the way.


I've got a new weather forecaster starting at GWV tomorrow + my final and official autumn 2013 forecast.


Bank Holiday Monday will have have at least one (and possibly two) historic videos.

Thanks Gavin, it'll be nice to see the sun return, we've not seen the sun here since Wednesday, and we're only at 98 hours for the month as a whole!

Quite interesing regarding Jamstec - overall as you said quite a variable autumn? Also quite controversial from your new forecaster Roger regarding his winter thoughts, if he's correct will we see the shift to cooler than average temperatures again just as we head into next Summer - he won't be popular on here if he's right!! Certainly goes against what the Met office are currently forecasting at the moment for winter though - however I do remember a lot of changes last year from this model as we got nearer to October, too early to call one way or the other at the moment.


Encouraging too the early bits of transient (at this stage) snow over Eastern Siberia, I haven't compared it but seems more than last year.
