Yes the twitterati have decided it's Glastonbury in 2005 now (see link) - however it did get very wet at Leeds with the walkways turning to liquid mud on the surface.

After a quiet cloudy couple of days this afternoon has been suuny and calm with a late summer/early autumn feel. Sea fog in shallow banks visible offshore

Observations between 8.30 pm last night and 8 pm currently.

LAST NIGHT: Cloudy with persistent rain that lasted for most of the night. However, the rain petered out just before dawnbreak.
THIS MORNING: Sunny spells and partial cloud cover.
THIS AFTERNOON: Hazy sunshine and variable cloud amounts.
CURRENT: Fair.    18.5 C.      91% humidity.        Dewpoint: 17.0 C.         Moderate north east wind.        Rising slowly to 1014.7 mb.

WINDS: Light north last night, then light to moderate north east during the day.
AIR QUALITY: Very good, but it became somewhat less so in the afternoon.
VISIBILITY: Good. Some haze, especially in the afternoon.
COMFORT FACTOR: After what has been a very wet night last night, it felt quite humid once the sun came out during the day.
RAINFALL (in mm): 9.9
TEMPERATURES (in C):          Max: 20.9 at 4 pm.          Min: 15.2 at 6 am.
PRESSURE (in mb):               Max: 1014.7 currently.          Min: 1007.1 at 4.30 am.

Can't believe how warm it feels outside after a chilly night and start this morning, currently 18C and calm.

Currently a mild 14.9C.  A cloudy start gave way to a lovely sunny afternoon with a maximum of 19.9C although it felt warmer.

Varying cloud amounts, but mostly clear.

Currently 16.8C, which is cooler than I expected. Max was 23.5C - a mostly sunny day after 11am.
