Some signs of rain petering out and sky brightening but we've had a huge 52mm between 9am and 5pm.
The high ground has had much more and water is streaming down the hillsides.

Sun's come out again after what has been a damp and overcast afternoon. Only managed a weedy 1.8 mm of rain, though, just barely enough to dampen the topsoil.

17.1 C, a much fresher feel to things. especially with a moderate south west breeze. 80% humidity.

Maxed at 18.9c just after 11am in brightness before the light rain this afternoon.

Sunny now at 15.8c but with a moderate SW'ly breeze meaning that the patio doors are closed this evening for the first time in two weeks.

Vile and depressing all day. Max 13.1C and now just 10.4C with light drizzly rain. Yesterday garbage as well - overcast until 4pm with a max of only 14.2C.

A complete contrast to the start of the week when it reached 25.6C on Monday and 24.1C on Tuesday. What happened in between to cause the change? I arrived back from my holiday
