In southsea looking north from 3rd floor and it looks like some rotation an lowering of wall cloud of a shower just to my north.

Thinking was that tomorrow would be largely dry but Tomasz Shufflecrusher has indicated that it will be showery again. Focus on NE England this time

Yep, focus today should be SE Scotland, NE England, Yorks, parts of E. Mids and, errr... Lincolnshire.

I also see the lowest 850/500 temps of just above freezing and -26 respectively are centred across the NE at 15Z.

Bit much in the way of crud left over from the earlier showers for my liking around here. In all seriousness, I would say NE of here into Teeside/Durham/Newcastle may be the best spot.

Indeed the crud has cleared away now, and rapid development off to the north of here visible. Also sferics from a cell north of Ripon.

Not really showing up on NAE but recent radar and latest WRF shows quite an active cold front element to the system as it moves SE this afternoon, especially further east on it's line.
Wouldn't be surprised to see some decent squall elements and deeper convection producing activity across EA and into the SE from 4pm.
