Morning,

A mostly overcast but calm and dry start to the day. At least the sea level cloud base and drizzle of recent days has finally gone. Zero rainfall so far today, 5.8mm yesterday, all of it wicked drizzle. Average temps.

A potentially stormy spell on the cards for us in the north and north west of Scotland later this weekend and into next week.

Does feel quite mild at 16 C and 78% humidity, went for a walk into the town centre in a cardy and jogging bottoms and have worked up a bit of a sweat.

Yellow gale warning now out for much of Scotland. Looking like perhaps 60 - 70mph for our area on Sunday / Monday, though still early days.
