Hello folks,

Here's the week ahead forecast videoi: http://www.gavsweathervids.com/forecasts.html

Here's the traditional week ahead Thoughts: http://www.gavsweathervids.com/written.html

High pressure (and Northern Blocking) rules the roost, but questions for Wed/Thu onwards.

Just a heads up to say that tomorrow I'll have the first winter 13/14 seasonal model round-up, which will hopefully be very interesting.

Thanks for your support and thanks as ever to Brian and the Mods.

Edit: Here's today's video - The First Winter 13-14 Seasonal Model Round-Up;

Hi all,

Here's the first Winter 13-14 seasonal model round-up video;

Haven't got all that many this month, but what we have got seem's to be pointing to a cold winter - Though the CFS may be backing off at the moment to be honest

Without the Beijing model it's hard to tell - I take it the Brazillian model isn't available either?  Didn't CFS have a wobble around this time last year if I remember correctly and I also seem to remember the Meto model flipped in October to a milder solution. One to watch I think and at this early stage a lot can change quickly.

Thanks Scandy.

The Brazillian doesn't quite cover the winter yet, so I left it out for this month - We'll see it next month.

CFS did indeed have a wobble through last autumn, infact you may remember that by the time we got to the final 12/13 seasonal model round-up I think it was only the BCC and JAMSTEC that was still going for a cold winter. All the others (including CFS) had lost it.
