Hello one and all,

Just wondered if anyone has any suggestions for a weather app for an android phone?  I've got a couple and not that impressed really, maybe expecting too much!

Would like it to be France & Europe biased.

Waiting with bated breath.Laughing

Rob.

Also I use rain alarm pro.It has a ten minute rainfall radar and covers a large part of the world.

I did use meteoearth which use ecm data out to ten days which I paid for.But after a recent update you can only look 24 hours ahead. To look any further you must pay again for a subscription.wish I had never updated it.

Thanks stophe, I'll give weermodellen a go. Sadly the rain alarm pro doesn't work with my type of phone.

Accuweather covers quite a few locations to mention one. 🙂
Observations from around GUILDFORD in SURREY and now Nottingham

Tried Accuweather, don't know if it was just me, but the adverts were so intrusive that I deleted it.

Rain Alarm pro -  well worth the cost - alerts you to approaching rain

MeteoGroup  - Weather pro - excellant, try the free version first

Met Office App - free and pin points your locations

Blitzortung Lightning - free lightning app

WindAlert -  grabs wind data from wunderground and displays on a map

Cumulus Realtime -  uses your own data from your weather station and shows it on your phone

Weather Models -  shows you the latest GFS models etc - average, needs improving

yr.no - norweigian one - but gives local weather using gps position

Accuweather -  allows you to have a weather related home screen -  your screen goes wet when it rains

Wunderground

I,m sure there a few others

Thanks for all the replies, I can't find the free version of MeteoGroup, any one got a link?

Thanks again 🙂

I presume the free meteogroup has gone.

Would gladly have gone to the pro, but google appears to think I'm a terrorist, and won't take my card with out a DNA sample 🙂
