Hi Ian! The last couple of months have been very close to average here, this month's average is 51mm, so looking very likely that this month will break that trend and come in above average! Those evergreens and the lawns will continue growing! Not the right thread - but there still hasn't been a frost here this Autumn - the lowest it's been is 5C!

60.8mm quite a heavy band of rain which has now just about passed. 19.8mm since midnight. Looks like the UK is going to see bigger amounts.

6.4mm from today's frontal system - the rain was accompanied by high winds - so probably some of the horizontal rain didn't make it into the gauge!! Total now at 42.7mm
