Quite sunny over here as clouds becomes more confined to the hills. It is a bit damp and blustery thus making it feel more like October more than anything, even though no rain has fallen since my last station reset at 9 pm last night.

Just had a thunderstorm with hail pass through here with the most unbelievable rainfall rate. Front and back gutters overflowed and had to mop up outside our front door!

Had very squally shower with brief period of intense rainfall....at some point early this morning....we're about 12 miles or so from Hayling Island....been out to yhe sussex heathlands this morning... A couple of trees down... Evidence of some localised strong winds....
