17mm from the downpour this morning brings our October total to 86mm.  Already the wettest month of this year here.

I'm at 134mm for the month so far.  With the forecast over the next few days i think i have a good chance of hitting 200mm for the month.


The river has been low all year, so be nice to get a decent bit of water in it.  Despite what we have had so far the river is still not especially high although it is pretty much the highest it has been for most of the year. (nearest station below)

82mm so far here. Yesterdays' thundery downpours really shot things up. And today's heavy rain too. Looks like plenty more rain to come before the month is out.

After the last few days of heavy blustery showers, some torrential and prolonged at times, this months rain total here so far has reached 110.8mm with plenty more to come by the looks of the outlook.
