A lot of thunderstorms to the south of the parent low at present. These very close to the west of Ireland

In other news, I've caught wind of a positive lightning strike having occured in Reading yesterday. I do remember hearing a sudden booming sound that was intense but short lived. I immediately said 'what the fridge was that?'
