November so far a huge improvement on the ghastly October.

However, at the same time, it does have that "traditional" look and feel about it all and at least we shouldn't have to concern ourselves too much with water restrictions next summer.
Now I am hoping for a decent window of opportunity to get my leaky roof fixed next week but the outputs are offering little hope of that (despite yesterday's talks of things settling down later on in the month, in fact, I've even mentioned that in my own forecast!).
I think it's going to be a while before I start complaining about our "boring Kent climate" again.
PS: Back on topic, I have reported temperatures getting down to 3.3 C in the small hours of Tuesday morning. Could have got lower than that and thus enabling a frost to set in if it weren't for general cloud and rain sweeping in from the Atlantic before dawnbreak time.
