LAST NIGHT: Mostly cloudy, however it became clearer in the small hours.
THIS MORNING: Rather overcast with very light and patchy rain.
THIS AFTERNOON: More in the way of bright spells even though there was a fair amount of convective cumulus.
The cloud eventually became thick enough to produce some rain from 5.30 pm onwards.
CURRENT: The rain has stopped and the cloud layer appears to be thinning. 8.6 C. 91% humidity. Dewpoint: 7.2 C. Fresh south west winds. Rising slowly to 1001.4 mb.
WINDS: Light west last night, then moderate to fresh south during the day.
AIR QUALITY: Superb. Very clean and fresh.
VISIBILITY: Excellent.
COMFORT FACTOR: After a damp morning, it became drier in the afternoon. However, it got properly wet in the late afternoon and evening time. The brisk southerly wind made it feel cool and fresh.
