Observations between 6.15 pm last night and 7 pm currently.
LAST NIGHT: Clear for most of the night, which enabled a frost to set in. But then high cloud crept in from the west as we went into the small hours.
THIS MORNING: A coloured dawnbreak courtesy of a red-coloured sunrise, then it was dull and overcast with outbreaks of light rain or drizzle for the rest of the morning.
THIS AFTERNOON: Dull and gloomy with outbreaks of light rain or drizzle. The cloud base was often low enough to shroud the hill tops.
CURRENT: Cloudy. Drizzle. 10.5 C. 96% humidity. Dewpoint: 9.9 C. Fresh south west winds. Rising slowly to 1023.7 mb.
WINDS: Light south west last night, then it became fresh to occasionally strong south during the day.
AIR QUALITY: Very clean and fresh.
VISIBILITY: Good at sea level, less so over high ground.
COMFORT FACTOR: Cold and wet. The wind added a wind chill to it.
RAINFALL (in mm): 2.1 (how could that little can make it so wet?).
TEMPERATURES (in C): Max: 11.0 at 12.15 pm. Min: 1.8 at 1.15 am.
PRESSURE (in mb): Max: 1025.1 at 12 am last night. Min: 1022.9 at 3.30 pm.
