39.3mm. Was 22.5mm before Wednesday's deluge of rain. Since the days are shorter, it's cloudier and the sun is very weak, any rain that falls seems to keep the ground damp for a long time, and makes the soil very muddy and annoying to walk on. This is the time of year when I really do not appreciate rain much, if at all.

Yep, doesn't take that much rain to make this time of year very soggy! My total now at 63.2mm - a little above average - but following on from a very wet October and it's remaining very squelchy under-foot! Not expecting much more rain here this Autumn - tho' some evidence of a slight sting in the tail .. atm!!

This streamer will not give up, has now added 4.8mm so far today; 34.4 over the past 48 or so hours, bringing the monthly total to 117mm, the final week of November looks dryish so perhaps today will be the end of it.

Indeed. 48 hours of virtually continuous rain had added another 24mm from this streamer here. A little less here than Dover nearer the east coast.

3.4mm rain so far today. Monthly total 121.4mm. 

Combine that to the 117mm in October and that makes for a very soggy situation. 

I wish White Lightning 4 miles to the west would add his stats. It would make for some interesting viewing.

118.mm here now - my second wettest month in 9 years! Only surpassed by December 2012 at 133mm.  Ive nearly caught you up Steve but the streamer finally appears to have moved offshore. 

Just 19mm so a dry month to date.
