Another grim start - damp, drizzy, mild and breezy. Another day where it won't really get light with all this cloud....and like yesterday the street lights will remain on all day

Clear here, it has been up to 9.5C at 3am but down to 8C now.

I see lower stations are reporting much lower as we are catching more of the mild wind (e.g. Pickering was below 2C)

I noticed that Col, Topcliffe was -1c earlier on too and at the same time it was 9c in Wensleydale
