So, we have gale warnings, snow warnings, rain warnings.....the lot in force for us over the next 4 days. Bring it on. Just now it is dry but turning increasingly stormy with a gust a couple of minutes ago to just under 65mph. Average temps. Overnight we will see severe gales, on Thursday we'll see severe gales and snow showers, friday severe gales again. It is going to get very bumpy for us.

Well, wind gusts are up above 70mph once again. I actually think it sounds worse tonight than the past few storms. As it's from the south rather than the west the roof is creaking much more.....

Have readings of 65mph from other stations in West Skye just now.

Silly wind speeds now....not the gusts, just the actual wind speed . It is sounding very fierce indeed, and that iscoming from a person that has to sit through frequent gales.....
