LAST NIGHT: Squally rain at around 9 pm cleared away to clear spells and variable cloud amounts throughout the night. It became more cloudy with showery rain by dawnbreak time.
THIS MORNING: Cloudy with showery rain, then the sun came out by noon time.
THIS AFTERNOON: Bright spells and partial cloud cover.
CURRENT: Clear.     7.5 C.          82% humidity.       Dewpoint: 4.6 C.       Moderate westerly winds.        Rising to 1011.9 mb.

WINDS: Fresh to occasionally strong south west last night then it became west in the morning and eased away in the afternoon.
AIR QUALITY: Excellent, very fresh and clean.
VISIBILITY: Fair at times this morning, excellent in afternoon.
COMFORT FACTOR: Cool. Wet at times.

Hi all from Burnley, it was very gusty this afternoon and about 3.30pm we had some hail showers. About an hour later it started with sleet showers and then at 5.20pm it snowed for about 15 minutes before clearing through. Things have now calmed down i.e wind dropped out partly clear skies, very cold and just the threat from the west of an odd shower (I will check on the radar). It looks like all the drama has transferred south so with that in mind keep safe everyone!
