We arrived a day to late - this was Boxing Day and the river had already gone down 2 or 3 feet. On Christmas Day my daughter had been wading down the High Street!

If it was a normal water scene we could say the water was a lovely blue.. But as it is it is just hardship for people ..

And to think it was this time only two short years ago when authorities were thinking about implementing water restrictions due to several months of below average rainfall causing reservoirs such as Bewl Lake to practically run dry.

Goes to show how the British climate is so great at playing cruel tricks on us.
