After a brief lull it is absolutely caning it down again here. A perfect day for sitting indoors and stuffing yourself with post-Xmas treats 🙂

Very very windy, cold rain and heavy and persistent at that, river levels rising again! This may be considered mild zonal dross by many, but I can tell you, when you are out in it it feels anything but. Just been for a bike ride and the horizontal rain, driven on by a strong wind, makes it feel very cold. Once you are soaked through, mild it is most certainly not! I agree we need a rest from the rain, especially IMBY as we have suffered badly with flooding, but I still find this type of weather enjoyable, equally I will look forward to snow......:-)

Rain not quite reached here yet but becoming very dark, think a very wet afternoon is to come! Saw the New Year in watching the big fireworks under a starry Scottish sky
