Dull and damp with occasional light rain and low cloud is shrouding the hills to the north of the town. Also, a fresh to strong southerly wind (my least favourite weather) is having the effect of making the current temperature of 6.6 C feel quite bleak and cold than deemed necessary.

A bit of a come down on yesterday but I guess it is late January, would be silly to expect weeks of wall to wall sunshine and mildness at this time of the year but one can dream.

really lovely day out there - sunny spells, light breeze, can feel warmth of sun.
