Just had a beefy shower rattle though, even had a bit of hail in it. Now I can see slivers of blue sky again, but at least winds appears to be quite calm at the moment (did expect it to be all blowy by now).

According to my cheap rain gauge, I have picked up 5.4 mm since midnight but I think Gusty will offer a more accurate reading.

EDIT: Strike that, the wind has picked up to as a fresh south, all it takes is a little tiny gap in the bathroom window and the indoor temperature drops something like 20 degrees.
