Heavy, sleety shower.  A shower at lunchtime had a flash of lightning and a rumble of thunder, hail too.

Observations between 7.15 pm last night and 7.30 pm currently.

LAST NIGHT: Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, especially in the second half of the night.
THIS MORNING: Mostly cloudy with showery rain, there was even a llttle bit of hail for a very short time. However, the sun even broke through from time to time.
THIS AFTERNOON: Rather more in the way of cloud cover with further showers, however the showers faded away from mid afternoon onwards. It also became rather windy.
CURRENT:     Cloudy.        7.6 C.       84% humidity.        Dewpoint: 5.1 C.        Fresh south winds.       Rising slowly to 987.7 mb.

WINDS: Fresh to quite strong south west last night and into this morning, then more as a south in the afternoon. It did fall light from time to time (when it was raining, funnily enough!).
AIR QUALITY: Very fresh and clean, I'll give it that!
VISIBILITY: Fair to good.
COMFORT FACTOR: Cold and wet.
RAINFALL (in mm):   8.1
TEMPERATURES (in C):        Max: 8.1 at 12.30 pm.            Min: 5.9 at 10.30 pm last night.
PRESSURE (in mb):         Max: 989.0 at 12 am last night.          Min: 985.1 at 6 am.

Heavy rain,some good rumbles of thunder in it too...
On the Mid Sussex downs,156m amsl on ridge near Ardingly. Igloo built in our garden,2010, lasted till march !
