We experienced freezing rain in Brighton in the early 70s - a few mm of the stuff and it caused chaos! And what Slovenia has had is something else again!

Good to see the usual idiots saying "this disproves global warming!!!!" in the comments section. And never mind that it would normally be well below freezing in these areas, and the only reason for the destructive ice storm is temperatures being much warmer than average...
