A quite sunny day with some convective looking clouds around but largely dry until an hour or so ago. Just had a very heavy shower which may have had a bit of hail in it, before the main rain band arrives later.

Observations between 7.45 pm last night and 7.15 pm currently.

LAST NIGHT: Mainly cloudy with showery rain. I did actually catch a glimpse of the stars when I woke up at 3 am.
THIS MORNING: Dull at first with a bit of light rain and the cloud was low enough to shroud the hills, then it brightened up during the course of the morning.
THIS AFTERNOON: Decent sunny spells and well broken cloud cover.
CURRENT: High cloud increasing.     8.3 C.        81% humidity.        Dewpoint: 5.2 C.         Freshening south west wiinds.        Steady at 996.7 mb.

WINDS: Moderate to fresh south west last night, then it became fresh north for a short time first thing this morning before settled down to as a light west for the rest of the day.
AIR QUALITY: Excellent, very fresh and clean.
VISIBILITY: It became superb by the afternoon.
COMFORT FACTOR: After a wet night, things dried up very nicely in the mild spring-like sunshine by the afternoon.
RAINFALL (in mm):       6.0
TEMPERATURES (in mb):        Max: 10.4 at 8.45 pm last night.                 Min: 5.5 C at 10 am.
PRESSURE (in mb):              Max: 997.9 at 4.45 pm.              Min: 977.0 at 5.30 am.

Hope everyone remain safe and well and we all get to ride out this storm in our own way.
