Driven back from Berwick to Skye today. A bit damp and breezy at times but nothing too serious. As ever the worst of the wind up here in the North West, speeds overnight topped 60mph again, as it has done many times this month. Also wet with 8mm since midnight and temp pretty average for the time of year.
Seriously depleted snow cover on all the mountains compared to this time last week when there was good cover right down to road level on the A87, A86 and A9. It was a white world then, today a wet world.
