121.0mm for February so far

Total for the winter 398.4mm (242% of the long run mean). All three months well over 100mm.

The only time I can remember anything worse than this in terms of rainfall was the period from September 2000 to January 2001 which was truly shocking.

Shulista: 99.9mm

Portree: 163.8mm

It's been a very long time since I've seen any West Highland dams overtopping via their spillway, but Laggan was today. Very impressive sight. A combination of recent high rainfall totals and a rapid thaw of a huge ammount of snow (7 days ago there was about 10cms of snow at the level of the dam, when we drove south, nothing below about 600m now). But Cluanie and Loyn dams have a long way to go before overtopping, and have a much bigger loch to fill, though they are filling fast

Cracking weather today, forgot what it was like to have "winter" sunshine.

Total here for feb 125.1mm to date, so turning into quite a dry month relatively speaking.

Main Trunk Road closed up the road from me tonight as the river has risen up and over the road.  Imagine it will start to drop off soon and hopefully be open by morning.

A small landslide at A83 Butterbridge has closed the road over there too, think that part of Argyll was push 75mm over the one/two day period.

Well remarkably we've had no measurable rainfall here for 10 days, although that's soon about to change.   My February total is standing at just 45mm so far.

After a very wet couple of days here as well, the headline on the Borders news was the height of the local rivers. The Eamont was spilling over its banks this morning I noticed on the way into work and the Eden was the highest I've seen it this winter.
The news reported 24 hr rainfall totals of 56.6mm in Shap and 49mm in Keswick. Exactly which 24 hour period that refers to I don't know!
