Clear and sunny overhead, but best of all we have lost that stupid southerly gale. However, cumulonimbus can be seen hanging over the Channel like chavs loitering at a bus shelter ready to cause trouble at a drop of a hat.

Another stunning morning here with strong sunshine and blue sky, the 4th in a row.

Just had a very noisey pea sized hail shower, it made one hell of a racket on the metal roof at work. dry at the moment. Temps at 8.8C but in the sun it feels luverly and warm. There's some nice cloudscapes drifting by with some great looking flat top towers that look quite threatening..

Fairly uneventful so far today. Rather a lot of cloud cover, some bright spells and the very occasional outbreaks of rain - a typical March's day more than anything. The sun is out again and is nicely warming up the west-facing part of the house (although I have got the central heating on for my elderly mother).
