Still waiting for the mild and settled conditions here. Currently it has crept up to 7°C but it is still cloudy and blowing a hoolie!

Edit: Having just been outside I can safely say that "today will feel quite warm" in Scotland as mentioned on earlier BBC forecast couldn't be furred from the truth. It feels very cold out there in the strong winds under cloudy skies.

Yep. It's official - we really have skipped Winter by going from Autumn straight to Spring as I have been doing outdoors-related stuff under hazy sunshine and calm wind for most of today and not only have I easily worked up a sweat, there is that pink glow on my face.
Temperatures peaked at 13.8 C at 1.30 pm at my coastal location today, which proves that there is none of that refrigeration effect associated with a cold Channel.

A disappointing day here, remained cloudy for most of the day... a few small breaks in the cloud but nothing more, low cloud has shrouded some of the Pennines to my east.

Maxed out at 11.6C, with more sun and less cloud no doubt it would have been a bit warmer. Tomorrow should be better. I hope.

We got up to 13.3C at 13:33! It was a very pleasant day there was an amazing calm and stillness. Sat on a bench on the coast path I was facing out to sea with the town and houses etc away from me around the sides of the hill, it was so quiet that I could loudly hear someone hammering away at something on a ship (the only one in the bay) out in the middle of Torbay so he was at least a few miles from me, crazy.

Meto have 13C down for us today but we've just hit 14.1C at 9:15am so I think its going to be a good day. It was only 11.4C at 9am so temperatures are rising rapidly out there.
